Engineering student based in Santa Barbara, CA. Currently with UCSB Gaucho Racing.
Intro
I’m a motivated and self-sufficient fourth-year mechanical engineering student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My internship and project experience has been heavily focused in the automotive industry - I’ve participated in UCSB’s Formula SAE team, Gaucho Racing, since its inception in 2021.
My CV
I’m currently a suspension engineer with Gaucho Racing. So far I’ve led the development and integration of the steering system with the GR24 car. Previously I was a chassis engineer, leading the early R&D on the GR23 chassis during our initial two-year development cycle.
I spent summer of 2023 working for Sensata Technologies’ automotive unit in Carpinteria, CA. My projects were centered on mechanical and thermal testing, where I had the opportunity to design and assemble test benches. I also wrote LabVIEW software to operate these benches and gave a talk on my experiment results at the conclusion of the internship.
